This document is published by Opacity AI Private Limited (CIN: U62011MH2026PTC468882; GSTIN: 27AAFCO0822J1ZI), a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013 and having its registered office in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, which owns and operates the Pindow platform (pindow.ai / pindow.io).
This page explains how to have data associated with a connected social account deleted, and how to check on a request you have already made. Capitalised terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms and Conditions of Service.
1. What a connected social account stores
When you connect a social account to Pindow to verify that you own it, we store only what is needed to show a verified handle: the platform's account identifier, your handle, display name, profile picture URL, profile link, and an encrypted access token. We deliberately store no follower counts and no engagement metrics.
2. Deleting it yourself, immediately
The fastest route is inside the product. Open your Pindow account settings, find the connected account, and choose Disconnect. That revokes our access at the platform and deletes the stored connection and its token straight away.
3. Deleting it from the platform's side
If you remove Pindow from your Instagram or Facebook settings, Meta notifies us automatically and we act on it without you needing to do anything else:
- Removing the app revokes the connection and deletes the stored access token. The verified badge disappears.
- Requesting data deletion deletes the stored connection record and its token entirely.
When Meta sends us a data-deletion request, we respond with a confirmation code that identifies that request. If you arrived at this page from Meta, that code is in this page's web address after ?code=, and it is shown above when present.
4. What this does not delete
A deletion request that arrives through a social platform covers the connected social account data described in Section 1 only. It does not delete your Pindow Account, your projects, or your generated Outputs, because proving control of a social account does not prove control of the Pindow Account it is linked to.

5. Timing
Connection data is deleted from our active systems when the request is received. Limited backup and security copies are deleted on a rolling basis, as described in Section 11 of the Privacy Policy.
6. Checking on a request, or asking for help
Contact support@pindow.ai and quote your confirmation code if you have one. If you do not have a code, tell us which platform and which handle the request concerns.
