Learn AI filmmaking
Free guides to making films with AI: the full workflow from script to shot list, storyboards, consistent characters, first and last frames, and a cinematography glossary.
These guides teach AI filmmaking as filmmaking. Generated footage changes what a shot costs, not what makes a film work, so everything here starts from the craft: a story worth telling, shots planned before they are generated, characters that stay the same person from scene to scene, and an edit that holds it together.
If you are starting out, read the AI filmmaking guide first. It explains what the medium does well, where it still struggles, and the pre-production chain the other guides go into in depth. The free course puts the same material in order with an exercise for each lesson, and the glossary defines the camera, lens and lighting terms that make prompts precise.
Each guide is reviewed and dated by the Pindow team, and describes techniques we use ourselves. Where a step is easier on Pindow we say how, but the methods work with any image and video models.
